FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: embodiment of claimed method is effected by getting out o balance of system of reactive forces excited by operating auger working members. Azimuth direction of plant movement is governed by direction of resultant of reactive force. Azimuth direction of plant movement is changed by varying number of simultaneously operating auger working members in mineral mining. Plant body may be turned round its axis to left and, then, to right sides through angle of Φ=360/n(0.5-0.9), where n is number of auger working members mounted in plant body. Device for embodiment of claimed method has, at least, three auger working members mounted in body. Axial lines of auger working members intersect in center of body. Auger working members are uniformly spaced by radii in horizontal plane. In central part of body where ends of auger working members converge, chamber is made for accommodation of air-lift supplyelement. To turn the plant round its axis through angle Φ to left and, then, to right sides, water-jet propeller with control members is rigidly mounted on plant body. EFFECT: provided maneuverability of plant movement, simple control of movement and simple device of device, higher operate reliability and complete recovery of mineral. 5 cl, 9 dwg, 1 ex
