FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering and may be used for driving vibration tools and in other devices making use of vibration. The electro-magnetic a.c. vibrator contains electric magnet and armature. Both elements are represented as two movable working parts having clearance between them and located on a.c. bus. If movable parts are identical, one of them is represented as a pair of ferromagnetic semi-rings joined together by non-magnetic washers. There is an extension represented as a permanent magnet and provided on front surface in the middle of semi-ring. The height H of the said extension is equal to the height of semi-ring h, while the extension length L is less than the clearance δ between semi-rings. If movable parts are different, one working part is represented as a pair of ferromagnetic semi-rings joined together by non-magnetic washers. There is an extension made from permanent magnet on one front surface in the middle of the semi-ring. The height H of this extension is equal to the height of semi-ring height h. The length L of the said extension is less than the clearance between semi-rings. The other working part, which is fixed to the non-magnetic non-conducting washer, is represented as a pair of permanent magnet extensions having height H equal to the height h of the semi-ring and length L less than the clearance δ between semi-rings.
EFFECT: reduced weight and dimensions, increased amplitude of vibration due to increased electro-magnetic force to join movable parts.
