FIELD: electrical engineering; driving vibrating tools and other vibration-using apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ac electromagnetic vibrator is made of ferromagnetic material with ac bus passed through its interior. It is integral ferromagnetic body in the form of spiral wound so that diameter of its second turn is greater than or equal to that of first turn and so attractive forces between working parts are, respectively, perpendicular or parallel to its generatrix. When spiral is made of N turns and diameter of each next turn is greater than that of preceding one, external end of spiral is rigidly fixed. When ring has split tilted through angle α to ring generatrix, normal and tangential components of attractive force of working parts are ensured making it possible for them to execute intricate vibrations in parallel with or perpendicular to ring generatrix.
EFFECT: simplified design, enlarged functional capabilities.
