SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as a container for eggs used for transportation, storage and in retail for the sale of goods. The lid for packaging eggs in a tuberculate substrate is made of a sheet cardboard blank containing a central part rectangular in shape, from which side parts are bent along two opposite sides along the fold lines to form two opposite side walls, the edges of which have serrated protrusions, the shape of which ensures the possibility of their placement in the recesses of the tuberculate gasket along the two edges of the latter on one and the other side of the process cutout in these edges. At the same time, between the toothed protrusions of each foldable side wall, an additional protrusion of a trapezoidal shape in plan is made with a large base facing the edge of the tuberculate substrate, which is connected by a jumper to the folded side wall. Moreover, the length of the additional protrusion with the jumper is made equal to the length of the toothed protrusion, the larger base of this protrusion along the length is greater than the distance between the edges of the process cutout of the tuberculate substrate or the protrusions in this process cutout for locating the additional protrusion in the opening of the process cutout with the side parts of the trapezoidal shape of the protrusion supporting the side walls process cutout on the back side of this substrate or into the protrusions in this cutout on their back side. The group of inventions also relates to egg packaging, consisting of a bumpy substrate, as well as closing it on top of the above-described lid.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the locking connection of the lid with a tuberculate substrate while reducing the consumption of cardboard material when opening the lid.
