FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording ganz field electric retinogram without preliminary deep darkness adaptation when stimulating eyes by achromatic and blue light flashes λ 430-450 nm with angular stimulus sizes being equal to 80-110 deg and power exposure at cornea level being equal to 0.8-1.2 mcJ/cm2. Macular electric retinogram is recorded on red λ greater than 600 nm and blue λ 430-450 nm light flashes with angular stimulus sizes being equal to 8-12 deg and power exposure at cornea level being equal to 0.125-1.145 mcJ/cm2. Rhythmic electric retinogram is recorded on achromatic light flashes of 8-12 Hz with angular stimulus sizes being equal to 80-110 deg and power exposure at cornea level being equal to 0.3-0.4 mcJ/cm2. Amplitudes of a- and b- waves of electric retinogram from peak a to peak b and coefficient Kb/a, amplitude b of electric retinogram b-wave from isoline, R3 subcomponent of rhythmic electric retinogram and KG- coefficient as ratio of wave amplitude of macular electric retinogram. The Kb/a value dropping to 1.5 and less and KG value to 2.5 and less, X- chromosome retinoschisis is diagnosed. Degree of rhythmic electric retinogram is used to draw conclusions concerning marked degree of secondary changes in internal nuclear layer neurons. Degree of macular electric retinogram is used to draw conclusions concerning degree to which macular zone is drawn in into pathologic process. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in detecting specific changes of retinal electrogenesis specific for X-chromosome retinoschisis. 3 cl
