SUBSTANCE: method involves determining glial coefficient Kg in sequentially recording electroretinogram and rhythmic electroretinogram from three or more neighboring not overlapping concentric retina zones. Plot describing Kg dependence on symbol localization on the retina is built as horizontal profile reflecting glioneuronic unit activity and size changes. The profile is used for estimating retina function. Disorders are detected when Kg value differs by 4 and more relative units.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in receiving new data describing retinal pathologies.
