FIELD: transplantation techniques. SUBSTANCE: patient receives (i) allogenic or xenogenic cell, which expresses donor's antigens and which bears ligand on cellular surface intended to interact with receptor on the surface of a recipient cell, the latter mediating contact-dependent helper and effecter function, and (ii) receptor antagonist, which inhibits ligand-receptor interaction, are injected to patient. Thus, tolerance for donor's antigens is induced. EFFECT: enabled successful transplantation of donor tissue or organ with no immuno-mediated rejection of donor's transplant. 38 cl, 13 dwg, 2 tbl, 2 ex
