FIELD: cutting of metallic blanks, namely turning grooves, shaping blanks. SUBSTANCE: clamping device is designed for securing cutting tips to plate holder. Device includes plate having front groove adapted for cutting tip and rear groove; said grooves divide plate by clamping portion arranged at one side of both grooves and main portion arranged at other side. Clamping and main portions of plate are mutually connected through elastic hinged part. In order to eliminate wear of surfaces supporting plate, to keep high clamping effort and to provide space for bending tool, device includes shoulder or supporting member for bending tool designed for pressing rear part of clamping portion remote from cutting tip and for elastically pressing out said part downwards for enlarging front groove in such a way that it matches with cutting tip.
