FIELD: treatment of water; portable units for treatment of water; magnetic and electrochemical activation of water. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes water purification unit connected with electrolysis reservoir inlet; inlet is provided with circular ferromagnet; electrode made from pure graphite or stainless steel is used as anode in electrolysis reservoir and electrode made from titanium or stainless steel is used as cathode; electrodes are connected with DC source; semi-permeable diaphragm separating the electrodes is made through impregnation of porous base with nitrocellulose solution in organic solvent or in mixture of organic solvents, preferably dichloroethyl ether and hexane followed by keeping this solution in air, flushing and drying; provision is also made for manual and automatic devices for breaking electric circuit. Water purification unit includes preliminary purification filter, high-quality activated carbon and ion-exchange resin. EFFECT: possibility of production of highly active anolyte preferably at pH= 3 to 3.3 and highly active catholyte preferably at pH=9.6 to 9.8 which retain their properties for extended period of time. 7 cl, 1 dwg
