SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for synthesis of lower olefins, in particular, to a method for cooling pyrogas. Method for cooling pyrogas involves at least one step of its contact with cooling agents - liquid products of hydrolysis isolated in cooling pyrogas wherein at least at one step the direct contact of pyrogas with cooling agents is carried out with the simultaneous increase of pyrogas pressure by using ejector "liquid-gas". Invention provides increasing yields of ethylene and propylene.
EFFECT: improved cooling method.
