FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention contains description of internal combustion engine with fire heater directing gaseous combustion products into intake system to prevent over-enrichment of air-fuel mixture and reduced formation of nitrogen oxides and macroparticles, even when internal combustion engine is combined with exhaust recirculation device. Proposed internal combustion engine has fire heater arranged in intake system to accelerate heating of internal combustion engine and increase capacity of automobile interior heater capacity by directing gaseous combustion products ejected by fire heater into pipe for main air flow and heating of cooling liquid by heat of gaseous products formed at combustion. Internal combustion engine has exhaust gas recirculation device and device to regulate amount of recirculating exhaust gas directed for recirculation by exhaust gas recirculation device depending on amount of gaseous combustion products delivered into main flow pipe. Exhaust gas recirculation device is cutout at operation of fire heater. EFFECT: provision of accelerated heating of engine and high capacity of heater. 7 cl, 6 dwg
