FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine running on mixed fuel consisting of alcohol and gasoline comprises fuel reforming catalyst that allows heat exchange with exhaust gas, device to separate mixed fuel into high-concentration alcohol and high-concentration gasoline. It comprises also the device to feed fuel for reforming, feed high-concentration alcohol and a portion of exhaust gas into fuel reforming catalyst, as well as the device to feed reformed gas to be fed into ICE inlet. Reformed gas is extracted from reforming reaction between high-concentration alcohol and exhaust gas fed into fuel reforming catalyst.

EFFECT: ICE running on mixed fuel consisting of alcohol and gasoline, higher efficiency and longer life.
