FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves tilling soil in autumn by means of needle-type or other disks; providing deep tillage or subsoil plowing; tilling soil in spring- summer season by means of needle-type or other disks for destructing dry compacted soil crust and forming two layers, with lower layer being formed at (3-4) - 16 cm depth of soil with small-grain structure, soil aggregate sizes of 0.5-5.0 mm and density of 1.0-1.1 g/cu. cm and upper layer being formed at depth of 3-4 cm with small-grain structure and soil aggregate sizes of 0.2-3.0 mm and density of 0.75-0.85 g/cu. cm; simultaneously combing plant remains into upper layer and mulching tilled field surface with plant remains. Method allows power consumption to be reduced by 22-26%. EFFECT: increased efficiency in cleaning field from weed plants, improved accumulation and retention of soil moisture and increased yield of farm crops.
