FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves cultivating soil to 27-30 cm depth by plowing or deep mellowing for forming upper and lower layers; diving upper soil layer into top, middle and lower sublayers during autumn or presowing treatment procedures; forming lower sublayer of upper soil layer at depth of from 8-10 cm to 14 cm of small-grained structure with soil aggregates of 5.0-10.0 mm size and 1.3-1.4 g/cu.cm density; forming middle sublayer of upper soil layer at depth of from 2-3 cm to 8-10 cm of small-grained structure with soil aggregates of 0.6-6.0 mm size and 1.1-1.25 g/cu. cm density; forming top sublayer of upper layer at depth of 2-3 cm of small-grained structure with soil aggregates of 0.3-4.0 mm and density of 0.7-0.9 g/cu. cm; simultaneously forming intermittent furrows filled with mellow soil at the depth of 2 cm in upper part of lower soil layer during cultivation; mulching cultivated surface with weed plant remains. EFFECT: increased yield of farm crops due to improved moisture accumulation and moisture retention capacity of soil, improved protection of field from wind and water erosion. 1 dwg
