FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves tilling soil in fallow field for depth of up to 40 cm once three-four years by plowing or deep tillage method; providing tillage while forming upper and lower layers, with lower layer being formed at depth of (3-4)-16 cm, with small-grain structure and soil aggregate sizes of 0.5- 5.0 mm and density of 1.0-1.1 g/cu.cm and upper layer being formed at depth of 3-4 cm with small-grain structure and soil aggregate sizes of 0.2-3.0 mm and density of 0.75-0.85 g/cu.cm; simultaneously combing weeds and plant remains into upper layer and mulching tilled soil surface with weeds and plant remains. Method is used for presowing and basic tillage of soil and allows farm crop yield to be increased by 14-18% and production costs to be reduced by 20-30%. EFFECT: increased efficiency by preventing wind and water erosion, provision for complete removal of weed plants, improved accumulation, retention and usage of soil moisture. 1 dwg
