SUBSTANCE: invention provides novel heterotelochelate block copolymer represented by general formula I (I), in which R1 and R2, linked to each other, denote (i) ethylenedioxy group (O-CH(R′)-CH2-O with R' therein being hydrogen atom or C1-C6-alkyl and which can be substituted by C1-C6-alkyl, or (ii) oxo group; L denotes group a: (a), wherein R3 and R4 independently denote hydrogen atom, C1-C10-alkyl, aryl, or aryl-C1-C3-alkyl and r is integer from 2 to 5; m is integer from 2 to 1000, n the same from 2 to 10000, p the same from 1 to 5; q the same from 0 to 20; Z denotes, when q= 0, hydrogen atom, alkali metal, acetyl, acryloyl, methacryloyl, cinnamyl, p-toluenesulfonyl, 2-mercaptopropionyl, 2-aminopropionyl, allyl, or vinylbenzyl, whereas, when q=1-20, Z denotes C1-C6-alkoxycarbonyl, carboxy, mercapto, or amino group. Oligomer or polymer of invention form high-molecular micelle, which is stable in aqueous solvent. They can be useful as drug carriers.
