FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is block copolymer of formula I: wherein X is alkyl group having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms and one or two substituents selected from group consisting of protected or unprotected amino group, protected or unprotected carboxy group, protected or unprotected mercapto group, phenyl or phenylalkyl groups in which benzene ring at phenyl or phenylalkyl is substituted by protected or unprotected amino group, protected or unprotected carboxy group or protected or unprotected mercapto group; said protected amino group is amino group blocked by amino protective group, said protected carboxy group is carboxy group blocked by carboxy protective group, and said mercapto group is mercapto group blocked by mercapto protective group; Y is group selected from group consisting of the following units in which R1and R2 are independently hydrogen atom, alkyl group having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R3 is hydrogen atom or methyl group, R4 is alkyl group having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, said group being substituted by hydroxy group, q is integer of 2 to 5, Z is functional group selected from group consisting of hydrogen atom, acryloyl group (-CO-CH=CH2), metacryloyl group (-CO-C(CH3)=CH2), vinylbenzyl group (-CH2-phenylene CH=CH2), allyl group (-CH2-CH=CH2), paratoluene-sulfonyl group (-SO2-phenylene-CH3), mercapto group, alkyl group having amino group, said group being substituted by mono-or di-alkyl having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkyl having carboxy group or ester group, alkyl having aldehyde or acetal aldehyde group, and halogen atom, and m and n are independently integers of 2 to 10.000. Also described is method of preparing block copolymer and using thereof to prepare high- molecular micelle. Block copolymer has functional groups on both ends, comprises hydrophilic/ hydrophobic segments, block copolymer contains functional groups such as amino group, carboxy group or mercapto group in alpha-end group and hydroxy, carboxy, aldehyde or vinyl group in ω-end group. Hydrophilic segment comprises polyethylene oxide, hydrophobic segment is prepared from lactide, lactone or metacrylic acid ester.
