FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: method can be employed for determination of diffusion parameters of oxygen in solid polycrystalline bodies in process of study of materials and physics of solid body. Specimen is heated up, held is heated state, cooled and depth distribution of activation energy of conductance in specimen is measured. Diffusion coefficients after these operations are found by approximation of distribution by expression coupling value of activation energy of conductance to concentration of diffused ions. Above-mentioned sequence of operations is repeated for different temperatures of specimen heating. Diffusion constants are determined by results of approximation of temperature dependence of diffusion coefficients with use of Arrehenius law. Prior to each heating of specimen thin layers of surface are removed from it to obtain certain activation energy of conductance in surface layer. EFFECT: simplified method and increased precision of determination of diffusion constants. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
