FIELD: production of energy- intensive cathode materials for chemical current sources. SUBSTANCE: proposed cathode material is mainly designed for use in 3-V chemical current supplies of fluorine-lithium system noted for high discharge characteristics and enhanced shelf life. Proposed material is distinguished by: residual hydrogen fluoride content which is 0.01 mass percent; heat treatment of source ingredients is conducted at following temperatures: 280-360 C for graphite ox fluoride; 380-400 C for carbon tetrafluoride; 650-900 C for electricity conducting dope, treatment being made in vacuum or in dried inert gas environment. Method used for material production is characterized by specific sequence of introduction of ingredients and by extractive treatment of cathode material.
