FIELD: antenna engineering; mainly short-wave scanned rod antennas. SUBSTANCE: antenna has central conductor and supporting structure in the form of coaxial elastically transformed conducting strips provided with scanners. The latter are located in bottom part of antenna. Some strips are electrically closed to central conductor on top part of antenna that accommodates central-conductor scanner. Strips not closed to this conductor (external conductors) may be used as passive dipoles or as dipoles carrying reactive load on ends of their arms. Antenna is tuned to desired frequency by varying length of strips and central conductor. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced weight, facilitated scanning of antenna and its matching with load. 3 cl, 5 dwg
