FIELD: large-size space systems formed by field of centrifugal forces for solving different problems in near-earth medium; research of electro- magnetic and dynamic processes in ionosphere and magnetosphere of Earth related to operation of power and antenna equipment of orbital cable systems. SUBSTANCE: cable system 4 set up from board of space vehicle 1 by means of service module 3 on remote boom 2 includes flexible framework 5 and flexible surface 6 secured to it; this surface is used for mounting the following conducting elements: ion and electron collectors, antennae, cable and switching devices, etc. Circular shape of cable systems 4 is obtained due to contour motion of framework 5 at speed V by means of liner induction motor of module 3. Electrical bonding of elements found on flexible surface 6 with on-board voltage sources and control circuits is ensured by mechanical or plasma-type contactors engageable with conducting zones (rings) of flexible surface. Spatial orientation of circuit of cable system 4 may change due to interaction of current passed along circuit with geomagnetic field $$$. Position of space vehicle 1 relative to cable system 4 may be changed in course of functioning of system. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 12 cl, 11 dwg
