FIELD: textile industry, in particular, production of textured materials, preferably glass fabrics. SUBSTANCE: method involves winding thread from succession of bobbins and directing them through thread supplying rate advancing mechanism; feeding threads into nozzle, where they are blown with compressed air; passing threads, which had acquired the shape of tape with width increased by more than 5 times, through pneumatic measuring device including charging nozzle and accumulating chamber, within which thread is in loosened state (without tension) till the moment it is laid into opening; laying thread tape into weaving machine gap by compressed air or rapier. Method allows textured tape- shaped threads to be manufactured, with all parameters acquired in the process of texturing being kept.
