FIELD: analysis of technical state of equipment; methods of estimation of remaining operating time of metal articles working under conditions of cyclic loading by results of full-scale measurement. SUBSTANCE: method consists in determination of dependence of ratio of sagging at the moment of beginning of its prompt increase to sagging at the initial moment of loading to number of loading cycles at the moment of beginning of prompt increase of sagging by results of tests of specimens under conditions of cyclic loading at preset temperature; the dependence thus obtained is then approximated by linear function and number of loading cycles at the moment of forming of crack of critical opening is found from equation obtained at this; remaining operating time is determined as positive magnitude of difference between calculated and expected durability. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of study; enhanced accuracy of measurements; possibility of developing procedures of automated monitoring of material state. 13 dwg, 11 tbl
