FIELD: electrolythical process for selective extraction and recycling argentum out of nitric acid solution including it as Ag(1). SUBSTANCE: process comprises successive steps of electrolythical deposition of argentum in the form of metallic Ag(0) and subsequent redissolving of deposited Ag(0) for receiving final solution of Ag(1); realizing step of electrolythical deposition at preset electric current value and performing successive steps of electrolythical deposition and redissolving deposited argentum in the same apparatus. Invention may be used, for example for selective extraction of Ag(0) by reducing it to metallic Ag out of nitric acid solutions received at treating plutonium containing waste in plants for processing nuclear fuel and also for redissolving metallic argentum with formation of Ag(0) for recycling it to initial step of process according to invention. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process due to shortened time period for realizing it and due to reduced number of construction members of apparatus. 19 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl, 4 ex
