SUBSTANCE: method for producing nuclear fuel pellets, type MOX, based on blended uranium and plutonium oxides (U,Pu)O₂ with rated plutonium content for charging UO₂ and PuO₂ powders by smearing, pelletizing, and sintering involves introduction of solid sulfur-containing organic dope of zwitterion type during joint pulverization of powders. Proposed method provides for increasing grain size in pellet to 20-40 mcm.
