FIELD: analysis of gas mixtures. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of quantitative content of various gases in multicomponent gas mixtures. Technical result of invention consists in design of methods and technical facilities for simultaneous measurement of concentrations of several chemical components contained in gas mixture, in provision of resistance to corrosive media, of high reliability and mechanical strength of sensor thanks to its manufacture on basis of solid oxide electrolyte. Method of analysis of gas mixtures uses multi-element sensor incorporating several solid electrolyte elements of various types including comparating element, unspecified number of amperometric elements, unspecified number of potentiometric elements. Chamber housing these elements is separated from analyzed atmosphere by gaseous diffusion membrane and is equipped with heating element. Electric signals picked off from all elements of sensor are simultaneously registered on alternating and direct currents. Alternating signal picked off from comparating element is utilized for thermal stabilization of sensor, the rest of signals are used for identification of composition of gas mixture and for calculation of values of concentrations of analyzed substances. Total number of signals of sensor used to determine composition of mixture is equal to 2(N+M)+1, where N is number of amperometric elements and M is number of potentiometric elements included in mix of sensor. Electronic circuit of gas analyzer and solid electrolyte sensor are also proposed.
