FIELD: analytical instrumentation engineering; gas and oil industry; power engineering; determination of concentration of combustible gases, such as oxygen and gaseous oxides; determination of inert gases and other agents not taking part in electrode reactions.

SUBSTANCE: proposed sensor has body with struts where gas supply pipe union and gas discharge branch pipe are mounted. Secured inside body is ceramic insulating body with tube arranged inside it; this tube is closed at one end and is provided with counter-electrode on inner surface and electrodes on outer surface. Tube is provided with heating element and sensor is provided with current leads.

EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity, accuracy and response; extended functional capabilities.
