FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: baler has base, front and rear traverses, compression chamber with gate, pressing punch, compression chamber hydraulic drive, pressing punch hydraulic drive and hydraulic station with control panel. Compression chamber is formed as hollow rectangular prism and is equipped with additional pressing punches having hydraulic drives arranged perpendicular to upper inclined face and to side inclined face. Punches adapted for horizontal and inclined motions and for pressing root mass have different sizes. Compression chamber is mounted on guides through sleeves and slider bearings. Such construction of press allows root mass compaction extent to be increased without deteriorating its medicinal properties. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency. 8 cl, 17 dwg
