FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has lower cross-member, vertical guides, upper cross-member, lower die, movable upper die, compression chamber, and hydraulic drives for upper die and compression chamber, respectively. Hydraulic drives are hydraulically connected to hydraulic station. Compression chamber is composed of upper, middle and lower movable parts equipped with supporting rings positioned on their cuts. Each of upper and lower compression chamber parts is provided with individual hydraulic drives. Supporting ring of upper movable part is positioned on lower cut on supporting ring outer surface. Supporting ring of lower movable part is mounted on upper cut on supporting ring inner surface. Supporting rings of middle movable part of compression chamber are fixed on inner surface of upper cut and on outer surface of lower cut. Compression chamber movable parts are made in the form of hollow cylinders of different size. Hydraulic drives for movable parts of compression chamber are arranged in opposed relation one with respect to another on upper cross-member. Upper movable die and lower die are made in the form of disks equipped with two intersecting slots arranged perpendicular one to another. Disk slots are positioned at an angle to pair of guides. Lower die is pivotally connected to lower cross-member and equipped with tilting mechanism, which is made in the form of movable stop joined to lower face of die. Stop is connected through pin to hydraulic drive lever. Such construction allows vertical size of compression chamber to be changed. EFFECT: reduced labor intensity and increased material compression extent by providing uniaxial compression thereof. 7 cl, 7 dwg
