FIELD: technology of making pyroxylin powders having special technological and ballister properties. SUBSTANCE: pyroxylin powder grains of which have porous structure comprises high-nitrogen nitrocellulose diphenyl amine methacrylate phlegmatizer (bistriethylene glycol) phthalate, soluble potassium salt which includes potassium sulfate, graphite and volatiles, ratio of ingredients being is follows, wt %: diphenyl amine, 1.0-2.0; potassium sulfate, 0.1-0.5; dimethacrylate (bistriethylene glycol) phthalate, 2.2-4.1; graphite, 0.05-0.15; volatiles, 1.4-3.2; and high-nitrogen nitrocellulose, the balance. Porosity of multicanal grains is within 5.0-8.5% and volatiles include volatile substances which comprise structurally, wt %: removable substances, 1.0-1.6 including water, 0.5-1.5; and irremovable substances such as ethyl alcohol and diethyl ether, 0.4-0.6. Claimed powder has low temperature sensitivity, low dependence of ballistic characteristics on initial charge temperature and has low-temperature pressure gradient. EFFECT: improved properties of the pyroxylin powder.
