FIELD: metallurgy, particularly, blast-furnace operation. SUBSTANCE: method includes putting on the blast to blast furnace in which fuel and hot oxygen are supplied into flow of air blast. In this case, both, temperature and velocity of hot oxygen are higher than that of air blast. Combustion of fuel and oxygen in blast flow is effected before entering the blast furnace.
