FIELD: shut-off members for control of working medium flows in transportation systems. SUBSTANCE: ball cock has body with inlet and outlet branch pipes, sealing members and plug with straight-way hole. Body consists of two similar hollow spherical parts interconnected by larger bases. Smaller bases are connected with ends of branch pipes forming circular stages between inner surface of body and adjoining surface of branch pipe. Each circular stage houses sealing member which is pressed to plug by flexible member. Plug is made in form of hollow sphere. Diameter of straight-way hole of hollow sphere is lesser than diameter of straight-way hole of branch pipe and sealing member, respectively. Flexible member is located on side of external surface of sealing member, coaxially relative to it. Branch pipes are made from sleeve of pipe. EFFECT: simplified construction of cock; reduced usage of metal; reduced labor consumption. 2 dwg
