FIELD: valve production.
SUBSTANCE: ball valve of pipeline stop valves can be used as a stop valve. Said ball valve is provided with a heat-shielding coating consisting of a polymer binder, in which the filler is evenly distributed, at the same time as the filler porous or hollow ceramic material is used with low thermal conductivity and a particle size of less than 1 mcm, with a ratio of components, wt. %: binder – 70–30, ceramic material – 30–70, and the seals are made of a polymeric material, with a thermal expansion coefficient made even with the level of the thermal expansion coefficient of the ball valve and the valve body by adding micro- or nanoceramic powders with a size of less than 1 micron and a volume content of 10 to 70 %.
EFFECT: claimed heat-shielding coating of a ball valve has a high mechanical and chemical resistance of the coating as well as high heat resistance, and the presence in the coating composition of a porous or hollow ceramic material, including air bubbles with low thermal conductivity, provides the coating with low thermal conductivity, which ultimately provides increased reliability of the valve by increasing its heat resistance.
