FIELD: heat-power engineering; manufacture of engines and turbines; chemical industry; gas and oil pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: thermal valve includes body with inlet and outlet branch pipes, seat, shut-off member and thermosensitive elements. Shut-off member is made from material possessing shape memory effect; shut-off member has form of spherical segment; it also performs function of thermosensitive and thermopower elements. On side of outlet branch pipe, valve body is provided with spring-loaded rod. EFFECT: simplified construction; high reliability of operation. 3 dwg
