FIELD: textile industry, production and processing of fibers. SUBSTANCE: dried material is treated with acoustic waves at initial stage of drying in two zones of fields of standing acoustic waves with interval of 2-5 min. Coordinates of antinodes of one zone match nodes of another zone. Source of acoustic oscillations with frequency 15.0-16.0 kHz and intensity 2.0-3.0 W/sq cm is employed for treatment. Direction of motion of incident acoustic waves and of flow of drying agent are opposite. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption and time of drying with preservation of initial mechanical properties of dried fibers. 2 cl, 2 dwg
