FIELD: multichannel communication systems. SUBSTANCE: method of multichannel communication with spectral multiplex includes generation of at least two transmitted optical signals differing by length of wave, multiplexing of these optical signals into one transmission fiber, formation of multiwave optical signal, transmission of multiwave optical signal carrying optical signals transmitted to corresponding receiving stations over transmission fiber and separation of transmitted optical signals. Process of separation of transmitted optical signals includes division of received multiwave optical signal into two output fibers as minimum, selective reflection of frequency band of multiwave optical signal incorporating at least one transmitted optical signal so that reflected band propagates over output fiber in direction opposite to direction of propagation of multiwave optical signal, isolation of reflected band from output fiber and its transmission over receiving fiber to proper receiver which is achieved technical result of invention.
