FIELD: shipbuilding; icebreakers with pitching and ice-cutting units. SUBSTANCE: icebreaker has hull with superstructure, main deck and bottom portion provided with flat cutter in CL. Icebreaker is provided with equipment for change of longitudinal coordinate of icebreaker center of mass. Cutter is made in form of "n" rollers arranged in succession in bottom portion over length of 0.3 to 0.5 from fore extremity. Roller is just body of revolution which consists of two similar cones at heights "h" and radius "r". Edge of common plane of bases lies in ship's CL. Each roller projects beyond ship's ;ones by about half of its horizontal section. Rollers have bearing units at their tops for securing them in arcade load-bearing skeleton. Inequality r>h changes to inequality r<h with distance from fore extremity. Above-mentioned equipment includes ramp rigidly secured to main deck and inclined at angle β° deg. from stern towards fore deck and inclined at angle deg. from stern towards fore extremity. Ramp is provided with railway track, aft and fore drives and trolley mounted on ramp. Trolley is provided with container filled with ballast, brake shock absorber for engagement with stop in fore extremity and securing on ramp. Superstructure is made in form of portal.
