FIELD: shipbuilding; designing vessel for arctic regions; building transport ships for ice navigation. SUBSTANCE: proposed surface/underwater vessel has hull with no appendages above deck; it has wedge-shaped form in cross section; it is pointed upward; upper portion of force extremity has taper section inclined downward in CL towards WL at maximum section of hull located at small distance from its extreme fore point exceeding remaining sections over width of WL. Specific feature of proposed vessel consists is form of two surfaces which are inclined towards bow and are connected above cruise; fore extremity has ice-breaking lines below cruise WL. Proposed vessel is able to break ice both by upper and lower portions of hull, thus clearing ice fields in moderate limiting shallow waters. EFFECT: possibility of performing all-year-round navigation entering frozen ports of Arctic coast and Siberian rivers. 1 dwg
