METHOD OF DEVELOPMENT OF NONUNIFORM-HORIZON OIL DEPOSIT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: development of multihorizon oil deposits with discontinuous lenticular formations. SUBSTANCE: method provides for drilling of deposit by system of horizontal and horizontal-radial wells. Products are withdrawn from horizontal wells and displacement agent is injected. Horizontal-radial well is located across extent of horizontal producing wellbores on the side of their end part. Horizontal wellbore of this well is directed over main producing formation and radial wellbores are drilled with tapping of lenticular and discontinuous interlayers. Displacement agent is injected by cycles, both, to horizontal and radial wellbores.
