FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: method implies carrying-out of geological oil-field, geophysical investigations of wells, and laboratory investigations of properties of bed fluids and porous media. For more reliability and efficiency of method, interpretation of results of geophysical investigations of wells is performed with application of mathematical statistics. Created is spatial geological hydrodynamic model of stratified non-uniform bed with splitting and correlation of sections, creation of local geological statistic sections, tracing of interlayers, and according to zones of characteristic permeabilities. Basing on created spatial geological hydrodynamic model, oil deposit is divided into representative areas with characteristic geological and filtration characteristics. Accumulated information is analyzed, and additionally performed are checking investigations. Plotted are maps of primary and residual oil-saturated depths. Identified within frame of spatial geological hydrodynamic model are worked-out oil-saturated depths with interlayers which are related to zones of higher permeability. Worked-out oil-saturated depths are defined with taking consideration of amount of accumulated recovery from producing wells, and amount of injections into injection wells. Plotted according to results of all investigations are profiles and block of diagrams concerning reserves of oil, and with respect to them decision is taken about character of bed work-out extent as to area and cross-section.
