METHOD FOR AFTER-EXPLOITATION OIL DEPOSIT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: exploitation modes of injection wells and development wells are regulated by preliminary determining on the base of data included in regulation charts by varying modes of injection and extraction. The charts reflect desirability of regulation. Measures on intensifying oil inflow are carried out on the wells chosen on the base of chart data for current potential extractions reflecting the extent of well productivity decrease taking into account natural growth of product flooding. Measures to restrict water inflow are carried out on the wells chosen on the base of the value of summarized desirability function calculated on the base of current flooding charts, inhomogeneity of seam filtering-capacity features across a section, regulation by varying extraction modes and residual extracted oil reserves. Completeness of the regulation for deposit exploitation at late stage is achieved by additional analysis of the charts: current oil-saturation, mean- weighted permeability across a section, accumulated water- oil factor and line of equal interaction between the wells. As this takes place scopes and sequence of undertaken measures are planned on the base of material balance between extraction and injection taking into account the extent of efficiency of individual measures.
