FIELD: oil and gas processing.
SUBSTANCE: production, preparation for transportation, processing of oil and gas, in particular, the diagnosis of the presence of deposits in recovery heat exchangers. A method for automatically diagnosing the presence of deposits on the walls of a recovery heat exchanger consists of measuring the temperature of the heating coolant with a given time discreteness from the moment the heat exchanger begins operation and and temperature of the heated medium and at the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger, as well as measuring the pressure of the heated medium at the inlet Pin and exit Pout from the heat exchanger, further calculating the temperature difference and hydraulic resistance , comparison of current temperature pressure values with its reference value as well as in comparison of current values of hydraulic resistance with its reference value and monitoring compliance with inequalities and and where δ and ξ are the values of the permissible deviation of the current temperature pressure from its standard and the permissible deviation of the current hydraulic resistance from its standard, respectively, which are set by the operating regulations of the installation in which the heat exchanger is operated. In case of simultaneous violation of these inequalities, a notification is generated to the operator about the presence of deposits on the walls of the heat exchanger.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of diagnostics of the technical condition of a recovery heat exchanger in order to prepare a conclusion about the presence of deposits on the walls of its pipe space, through a joint analysis of the thermal and hydraulic characteristics of the heat exchanger.
