METHOD FOR MOUNTING PIPELINE IN GROUND Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method used for laying pipelines in heaving grounds, grounds deformed due to underflooding, thawing, and frost penetration involves driving paired anchors into ground on both sides of pipe and joining together their outer ends by power girth arranged around pipe. Driven sections of anchors are installed under supporting part of pipe in vicinity of consolidated ground at external angle of inclination to ground surface which is smaller than 90 deg. In preferred alternatives driven sections of anchors are located in vicinity of consolidated ground at depth which does not go beyond point of intersection of their routes and form V-shaped arrangement of driving; driven sections of anchors are installed in vicinity of consolidated ground so that their routes are crossing; ends of anchor sections go beyond projection of pipe supporting part to horizontal plane to form X-shaped arrangement of driving; area of consolidated ground is formed by constructing supporting platform; the latter is made by ground consolidation or filling cushion of dense material, or by laying slabs.
