FIELD: fuel element manufacture. SUBSTANCE: method is used to produce laminates incorporating at least one central ion-conducting membrane connected for electricity conduction through at least one essential part of its two opposing flat sides to at least one catalytically active material and to at least one n-type flat gas-tight contact material in which joint of at least two of mentioned components is laminar. Method is characterized in that ion-conducting membrane, catalytically active material, and n-type contact material are joined together continuously. Displacement and feed devices are provided to bring ion-conducting membrane in contact with at least n-type contact material to ensure high-precision positioning and both components are laminated by compression and joined together. Total resistance deviation range of laminates produced by using proposed method is ?10%. Laminates may be found useful for fuel elements and electrolyzers.
