FIELD: medicine, in particular, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: table has ruled paper with group of signs and ruled paper with sight acuteness figured values arranged in the order of changing sight acuteness. Angular sizes of signs relative to eye under investigation correspond to figured values of sight acuteness, coincide within each group and differ from sizes of signs in other groups. Table is provided with additional ruled paper having scale of distances between paper with groups of signs and eye under investigation. Figured values of sight acuteness in table form geometric progression. Papers with sign groups and paper with sight acuteness values may be moved one relative to another and fixed and positioned relative to distance scale, with direction of movement defining changes in figured values of sight acuteness relative to respective groups of signs.
