METHOD FOR DETERMINING SIGHT CHARACTERISTICS AND DEVICE THEREFOR Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B3/06

Abstract RU 2576798 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to ophthalmology. Method for determining characteristics of sight, including examination. Examination is carried out by presenting a patient in a dark room at a distance of 1.0 m - 1.5 black screen on which there are three concentric circles A, B, C with diameter 15, 10 and 5 cm respectively, along outline of which are uniformly arranged dull, two-colour light-emitting diodes illuminating and in a single centre of which there are three bright light-emitting diode R, G, B; and fixation in diagnostic map patient caused visual sensation. To determine visual acuity, method comprises recording patient diverging waves thermal radiation, accompanying light radiation of R or G or B LEDs, and to determine light-perceptibility of photoreceptors of retina is described by patient degree of brightness of light emitting colour light-emitting diodes or combinations thereof. Device consists of a polymer square black screen on which there are three concentric circles of standard fields of view A, B and C for determining characteristics of vision, first of which is calibrated from 0° to 360°, with diameters 15, 10 and 5 cm along outline of which are uniformly arranged two-colour light-emitting diodes illuminating in amount of 12, 8 and 4 items, respectively, and in a single centre of which there are three bright R, G, light-emitting diode, and mains adapter with DC power supply voltage of +3 V to feed light-emitting diodes of screen with a set of micro switches, micro toggle switches and construction with micro switch buttons which provide light selected light-emitting diodes.

EFFECT: using present group of inventions enables higher accuracy of determining perimetry vision.
