METHOD OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF GLAUCOMA Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, particularly, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method includes cutting out of rectangular graft of sclera with base toward limbus through half of its thickness; folding it back onto cornea; incision of deep layers of sclera to ciliary body in middle of formed bed through its entire width concentrically to limbus; dissection of part of sclera in center of incision in form of two triangles with their bases facing each other; laying of two strips of Alloplant biomaterial square to incision line and fixing by single interrupted sutures; introduction of strip front ends through incision into corner of front chamber with interval of 1 mm and introduction of strip rear ends into suprachoroideal space; laying of sclera graft to its place and fixing with interrupted sutures.
