FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer to produce aluminum has anode enclosure, gas-collecting cover and facility feeding starting material made of hopper, batch weigher and punch of electrolyte crust with rod and drive. Batch weigher comes in the form of tube with air-tight cover on top and open from bottom, divided by gas-penetrable diaphragm into upper chamber connected to ejector or vacuum line and lower working chamber fitted with branch pipe to suck starting material from hopper, shut-off member shutting lower open end of metering tube manufactured in the form of conical or spherical valve, lifting element joined to tie-rod moving in axial direction and pressing valve anchored on tie-rod against open end of tube and discharge funnel with discharge tube attached to lower open end of tube. Hopper has closed chamber communicating with gas-collecting cover with the aid of leak tube inside which lower end of discharge tube is located. EFFECT: raised operational reliability of facility feeding starting material and current output. 3 cl, 5 dwg
