FIELD: measurement technology, chemical and paint and varnish industries. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to determine quality of conducted technological processes by way of measurement of viscosity of liquid reaction media. Gear measuring viscosity of liquid has nozzle arranged above surface of liquid during measurement, sensitive element, converter, control unit, gas flow governor, valve, register and comparison element inserted in addition. Sensitive element comes in the form of tube placed perpendicular to undisturbed surface of liquid. Axis of tube is located in plane of nozzle, partition is arranged along axis of tube, perpendicular to plane of nozzle and divides tube into two equal parts, each part being connected to proper input of comparison element whose output is connected to input of control unit. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of viscosity of tested liquids displaying heavy viscosity. 3 dwg
