PULSE GENERATOR FOR INDUCTIVE SPEED TRANSDUCER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: instrumentation engineering; measuring rotor speed of pumpturbine units and other rotating parts. SUBSTANCE: pulse shaper has three threshold elements, three switches, two pulse shapers, discharge capacitor, voltage divider built around resistors, AND gate, integrator, amplitude detector, and storage capacitor. Integrator output is connected to first input of first threshold element and to input of amplitude detector whose output is connected to input of second threshold element and through voltage divider, to common bus. Series-connected first switch and discharge capacitor are connected in parallel with amplitude- detector storage capacitor. Connected in parallel with discharge capacitor is second switch; control inputs of first and second switches are connected to respective outputs of first and second pulse shapers whose inputs are connected to first output of AND gate and to output of first threshold element whose second input is connected to voltage-divider output. Output of second threshold element is connected to second input of AND gate whose output is connected to output bus of pulse generator; input of third threshold element is connected to input bus and to input of amplitude detector and output, to control input of third switch which is connected in parallel with integrator capacitor. Proposed pulse generator depends for its operation on selection of input signal with respect to surface area. EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity and speed in wide range of input signal frequencies and amplitudes. 2 dwg
